Bible Study

"But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:14 - 17

Why Bible Study?

People of all ages benefit from learning more of the eternal truths contained in God's Word and applying those truths to their own lives. It has been shown that a very effective way to study the Bible is in a small group of people with interests and concerns similar to your own.

Into everyone's life there occasionally comes some crisis of need. It is characteristic of the Christian community that God's children respond in love to the needs of one another. It is through our Bible Study classes that the members of Capitol Free Will Baptist Church are organized to care for one another in loving and appropriate ways.

Our Bible Study classes provide numerous opportunities to interact with wonderful people in a social setting. Fellowship with other members of your group are just one of the fellowship opportunities which you may expect of our Bible Study classes.

Our members often feel a need to use their God given gifts and abilities to help others in various ways. Our Bible Study organization provides an opportunity for meaningful service for all people.

We provide several different Bible study classes,

  • Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m.
  • Monday nights at 7:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a. at the church. Teacher Deloris Williams may be reached at or 916 996-8573.

We encourage you to attend one or more of our classes to gain a clearer understanding of God's word.
