Love Thy Neighbor
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:9-10
"But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." I Peter 4:7-11
PURPOSE
The “Love Thy Neighbor” ministry is an emergency food closet for those in real need. We are dedicated to serving those who are less fortunate than others. We pray that in some small way we may ease the burdens of life. Needy families may receive a food donation twice in a six-month period.
We seek to provide the necessary items for individuals and families to survive the hard times we might be going through. We also provide food baskets during the holiday season to needy people.
GUIDELINES
Due to the fact that we want to help as many needy families as possible, we have the following guidelines:
Ø Donations limited to twice per family in a six-month period Ø No cash donations at any time
