Sweet Hour of Prayer

Mission Statement
The capitol Sweet hour of Prayer Ministry exists to provide an opportunity for church members to come together and praise God for who he is (Adoration), confess their faults to one another in an atmosphere of repentance and trust (Confession), thank God for all he has done for all of us as a group and individually (Thanksgiving), bring our needs and concerns to God, surrender our wills to him and walk away knowing that he knows what is best focus (Supplication
Goal
It is the goal of this ministry to increase the prayer time, as the group grows Mary plans to appoint other prayer captains, so there is never a group of more than six praying together. Prayerfully, more men will start showing so that we can have a separate men's payer group vs. the existing mixed group. Mary Williams leads the praying with adoration, while everyone else there takes turns doing the same. This is likewise repeated with prayers of confession, thanksgiving and supplication.
Schedule
Every Wednesday night at 6:00 in the Sanctuary.
